Clare DuBois founded TreeSisters after a car crash that delivered a life changing message ~ she was told that the tropics needed to be reforested within 10 years ~ that women were the missing piece in the climate change crisis ~ and that feminine consciousness needed to be reinstated, or ~ 'it's over'.
A free radical and unlikely leader, Clare is an Earth loving social entrepreneur and inspirational speaker who worked for 18 years within the personal growth sector before becoming the volunteer UK co-ordinator for a massive agro-forestry initiative in southern India called Project GreenHands (PGH).
Through her three years with PGH, she distilled the social mobilization strategy that is catalyzing a state's population to reforest their land, and now turns it toward the mobilization of women within TreeSisters: a women's crowd-funding campaign to direct the brilliance, creativity and generosity of women towards the reforestation of the tropics.
It's culture change work ~ consciousness shifting ~ awareness raising ~ rewilding ~ re-balancing and rooted in our ability to choose and create a human culture that respects and protects life.
Clare is British and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
